MEL Science Therapy Kit Unboxing and Review

MEL Science recently sent us one of their medical kits to review. We had lots of fun playing with the kit and trying the experiments with the help of the MEL Science app. See the video below where we show what’s inside and go through one of the experiments.

MEL Science is a subscription service that offers over 100 hands-on projects. When are kids were younger we learned of their chemistry kits, and they also offer many kits for STEM, Math, and Physics. The Medical kits are for age 14 and up which is perfect since our youngest is a teenager now. We were impressed with the quality of the medical tools in the kit (batteries are needed for a couple of the items) and the experiments were very infomative and well-designed. The therapy kit is perfect for someone interested in a career in healthcare and teaches how to conduct some important medical tests like pulse oximetry and blood pressure. The experiments teach the theory behind these tests and why these tests are so critical to evaluate the health of a patient. The app even has virtual patients to practice with.
